What makes a good crossword?
Mix shorter answers with a few longer ones. Answers need shared letters to cross. Use familiar memories and clear clues your guests can solve. If every word cannot fit, we explain the problem and do not silently leave any out.
How do I save or reopen it?
Your draft is saved in this browser when local storage is available. Use “Save project file” for a portable backup before closing or switching devices. Reopen that JSON file here to continue. Private browsing and clearing browser data can erase a local draft.
Where do my names and clues go?
Your crossword names, answers and clues stay in this browser and your saved project file. Card, billing and receipt-email details go directly to Stripe. Our order record stores a random order number, hashed recovery key, Stripe payment reference, payment state and verification times; it contains no crossword, email, address or card details. Hosting and payment services may process ordinary request metadata. Keep your recovery file private.
How is traffic measured?
On wedding.reinstately.com we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for page visits and performance. Its reports include page paths, referring sites, approximate country, and browser/device categories. Cloudflare receives ordinary network metadata and does not use analytics cookies or individual fingerprinting. We do not send your crossword names, answers, clues, saved project or payment data to analytics. Optional product-action reporting remains separate. About Cloudflare Web Analytics.
How should I print it?
Choose your paper size and download the free fictional sample to check the design. Print the first page at 100% / Actual size; page two is the answer key. Printer margins and scaling can vary. The fictional sample does not contain your personal clues. After purchase, print your custom puzzle page and keep page two for the hosts.
What if something goes wrong?
Save your project backup, reopen it and regenerate. If clues are too long for the printable page, shorten them before continuing. For a defective PDF or download problem, contact josephmeeko@gmail.com with your receipt. We will help fix it or refund your purchase. Duplicate charges will be refunded. You may request a full refund within seven days of purchase. Refunds revoke future PDF access. This policy does not limit rights provided by law. Do not email your private recovery key or card details.

Wedding crossword clue ideas
Start with shared memories, then give your guests a fair way in. Mix easy answers with a few that reward the people who know you well. Choose 8–15 answers with shared letters so every answer can connect.
A place or a treat
“The coastal town where our first date began.” Fictional answer: SEASIDE. “Our first-date dessert, served in two little cups.” Fictional answer: GELATO. Add one helpful detail when several answers could fit.
An activity or a small habit
“Our favorite Saturday trail activity.” Fictional answer: HIKING. “The hot drink we never start Sunday without.” Fictional answer: COFFEE. Use memories guests can recognize instead of clues only one table will understand.
A pet or a trip
Try the name of a pet your guests know, or the city at the top of your honeymoon list. A country or landmark hint can make a city clue fairer. Leave passwords, contact details and private facts out of a puzzle guests will see.

How to print a wedding crossword
Start with 8–15 answers about your story. Give unfamiliar guests a few easy ways in: a wedding location, a shared treat, or an activity mentioned in the clue. Keep a few personal memories for friends and family without making every clue an inside joke.
Give each clue a fair answer
“Our favorite food” could mean several things. “Our Friday-night dinner, wrapped in a tortilla” gives guests a clearer route to the fictional answer TACOS. Read your clues aloud and check the answer key before printing.
Why won't my answers connect?
Crossword answers need shared letters to cross. Shorter answers can bridge longer names and places. If one word shares no letters with the rest, choose a different relevant answer or add a connecting word within the entry limit. Shared letters help, but do not guarantee a legal layout. Try another layout or simplify an awkward entry.
A successful preview includes every answer. Spaces and punctuation stay out of the squares; accents become plain grid letters. Check the resulting spelling in the answer key.
Test one sheet before printing the stack
Choose the paper in your printer: US Letter or A4. Print at 100% or Actual size. Check that the grid, clue text and page edges are visible. If an edge is clipped, inspect the printer's margins and scaling settings before printing all copies.
Keep page two, the answer key, for the hosts. Leave something to write with. One copy per table can invite teamwork; individual copies let guests keep the activity afterward.
Save before switching devices
